A very nominal platform fee keeps the service running. Add your own free Google API key and there is nothing more to pay — no token charges, no daily bill. Open AI शिक्षकः and learn.
What it costs
Yearly platform fee
NominalA very small fee, once a year. It covers the servers, the Pāṇinian grammar engine, and upkeep — so the tutor stays available to every learner. This is the whole fixed cost. (Rates to be announced.)
Your own API key
FreeCreate a free key at Google AI Studio (step-by-step guide), paste it into your profile once, and your practice runs on Google’s free tier. No token payments, ever. It is encrypted on our server and you can remove it in one click.
No key? Metered plan
Pay-per-usePrefer not to manage a key? Practice runs on Geervanee’s own AI, metered and capped so a normal day of learning stays affordable. (Rates to be announced.)

Why a fee at all?
A hosted tutor has a real running cost — a server, a grammar engine that has to stay up, security updates, backups. The platform fee is set to cover that and no more. It is not a subscription to features; it is what keeps a shared, verified tool alive for everyone learning on it.
Is it really free to use?
With your own Google key, yes — Google’s free tier is generous, and a built-in daily limit (set below Google’s own) means you are never stopped mid-lesson and never see a surprise charge. Nothing is billed to your Google account unless you separately turn on paid billing there, which the free tier does not use.
